TEAM OFARC - The History

Father and Son, Jon and Dax Ward have always been motorsport crazy and in late 2000 decided to try and get amongst the action at a club level. They decided upon racing the Jedi single seater car and entered their first race at Brands Hatch on a cold, damp, dreary November weekend.

Adrian, AKA Chewie, also joined the team from the start as race engineer as his love for cars was perfect for our team.

After a fairly eventful first meeting we all went to celebrate and relive the weekend in the the bar and the teams name was decided, as I guess many a teams name is decided.

In 2006 Marc Fortune got the bug and joined the team and was quick from the off.

2009 Season

Both Marc and Dax have and will have new additions to their families, so racing this year may have to take a back seat. So lots of testing will take place instead of race weekends away, and hopefully come July racing can start in earnest once more.

Dax's car is supported by St. Cross Electronics Ltd, Marc's car is supported by Infinite Mortgages and both cars are prepared by themselves together with Adrian.
